Grandparents Are Working Hard While Their Grown Grandchildren Are Goofing Off
This change was gradual over the years and almost went unnoticed until yesterday. What has happened to us? I noticed many youngsters in the store that were decked out with the latest fashions, fancy hair styles, tattoos, sexy clothes, chatting on the pricey cell phones, and being completely self-indulgent, while their grandparents and great-grandparents were struggling to earn minimum wage. Why are we not taking care of our seniors? I don't mean medicare, social security and food stamps. I mean why are their children not taking care of them? Do they think that it is not their responsibility? Do they think that the government will provide for them? Are they blind to this odd juxtaposition?
Where did the youngsters get the money to drive new tricked-out automobiles with blaring sound systems and exhaust while their grandparents carry groceries out to these cars? Are the fancy cars in the parking lot paid for with borrowed money that will never be payed back? Did they get college loans from Uncle Sam and buy new cars with the money instead? Are they depleting their inheritances from their grandparents who worked every day of their life so that their grand-kids could have an easier life? What happens when the money runs out and times get rough?
The old people seem to have character and they are willing to make sacrifices and "do whatever it takes", but what about today's youth? Do they have character? Will they have what it takes when push comes to shove? I think not. I think there will be anarchy, crime and riots when the next great depression hits. The pretty women will sell themselves as prostitutes. They already dress the part, with extremely provocative seductive clothing and demeanor. But now they just give it away for free for the fun of it, without marriage or commitment. They are cheap now, but in hard times they'll sell themselves to the highest bidder. The boys will become the thugs that they now emulate with their dress, language, attitude and song. They will loot these very same stores and trample the old folks to get what they need when scarcity becomes widespread. Only our old folks have the character, determination and moral restraint to turn things around. I fear for the days when they are gone.

Top Song on the Hit Parade
Many young people will say that this is just a song and that the lyrics don't have any significant meaning to them. Just like they say the lyrics of vile rap songs are funny, cool or just plain "art", they also consider this song so cool that they made it number one on the hit parade. But if songs have no meaning, why are so many of us emotional when we hear the national anthem? Why do Madison Avenue advertising firms use songs successfully to promote products. Why do most young people emulate popular musicians in dress, attitude and language? This song promotes experimentation with homosexuality, which is abnormal and unhealthy. As a result, today's youth are blurring the line and unable to distinguish between normal and abnormal, healthy and unhealthy and right and wrong behavior. What do you think?

I Kissed A Girl
This was never the way I planned
Not my intention
I got so brave, drink in hand
Lost my discretion
It's not what, I'm used to
Just wanna try you on
I'm curious for you
Caught my attention
I kissed a girl and I liked it
The taste of her cherry chapstick
I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it
It felt so wrong
It felt so right
Don't mean I'm in love tonight
I kissed a girl and I liked it
I liked it
No, I don't even know your name
It doesn't matter
Your my experimental game
Just human nature
It's not what, good girls do
Not how they should behave
My head gets so confused
Hard to obey
I kissed a girl and I liked it
The taste of her cherry chapstick
I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it
It felt so wrong
It felt so right
Don't mean I'm in love tonight
I kissed a girl and I liked it
I liked it
Us girls we are so magical
Soft skin, red lips, so kissable
Hard to resist so touchable
Too good to deny it
Ain't no big deal, it's innocent
I kissed a girl and I liked it
The taste of her cherry chapstick
I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it
It felt so wrong
It felt so right
Don't mean I'm in love tonight
I kissed a girl and I liked it
I liked it

Why Are Our Politicians Leading Us To Hell-in-a-Hand-basket?
Our politicians have found new ways to become corrupt while still working within the constraints of the law. For example, an alarming number of congressmen have family members who work for companies that benefit from legislation before their relative in Congress. For example, Congressman Murtha has a brother who sits on the board of directors for 10 different defense contractors. Congressman Murtha is the chairman of the House defense appropriations subcommittee, and authorizes defense contracts that benefit his brothers firms. Murtha is one of the most outspoken anti-war congressmen in the Congress. This is the perfect cover for him to hide behind while he funnels hundreds of millions of dollars towards his brothers businesses that produce the machinery and weapons of war.
Also, as many as ten percent (some sources claim 25%) of congressmen have a family members being paid as a lobbyist by a company or country that benefits by pending legislation before congress. Congresswoman Barbara Boxer's husband's business, that involves trade with China, is booming. She is among the wealthiest people in the congress due to her husband's business dealings and favorable trade policies that the congress has approved with China.
Another legal form of corruption that high government officials engage in, is working as lobbyists themselves after leaving government office. Former secretary of state, Madeline Albright, now works as a registered foreign agent, as a lobbyist for the United Arab Emeritus. President Clinton has been hired to give speeches for the UAE. He was payed fees of over a million dollars per speech by the UAE. Are Clinton's words actually worth that much or is the UAE actually buying his influence?
Another outrageous congressman is William Jefferson. Congressman Jefferson was the target of a two year investigation which culminated when investigators found 90,000 in cash in the congressman's home freezer. The congressman was charged last year with racketeering, soliciting bribes for himself and his family, fraud, money laundering, obstruction of justice, conspiracy and violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. His brother and sister were also indicted on related charges. The congressman is fighting the case, claiming that he was set up, and that the subsequent search of his congressional office was illegal. Congressman Jefferson has remained in office for nearly two years since he was in indicted on these charges and is planning to run for re-election in November. Congressman Jefferson has used technicalities in the law to have evidence suppressed, and has a good chance of beating his case legally. In my wildest imagination, I can not come up with a rational explanation for Jefferson to have 90,000 dollars hidden in his home freezer. Especially since two men have already been convicted of bribing the Congressman.
Why is this man still in office? How can this man run for re-election. The sad truth is that he will probably win the election and hold on to his congressional seat in November because of a practice called gerrymandering and public apathy. Gerrymandering is the practice of mapping out congressional districts so that they are either predominantly democratic or predominantly republican. This practice usually insures that an incumbent candidate wins in congressional elections. Both parties support the practice of gerrymandering because it helps the lawmakers retain their seat regardless of the general approval of the voters. Since democrats usually vote for democrats, Jefferson will probably get re-elected because his congressional district has been mapped out in such a way that the residents are probably 90% democrat. Gerrymandering is clearly an unfair, unethical practice, but it remains in practice because it benefits the people who write the laws.
What is most astounding to me, is that there is no outrage from the public about these obvious cases of conflict of interest that impact on our nations national security and political system. The public is either asleep at the switch(not paying attention) or have no moral compass of their own and are unable to distinguish right from wrong. Or worse than that, they have been taught that passing judgment is wrong. If no laws were broken, who are they to judge. But these are the people who write the laws, they must be held accountable to the universal spiritual principles that our country was founded upon. Few people are holding our lawmakers accountable and the vast majority of the public just does not care. Just like the law-makers are ignoring their moral obligation to serve the public and carry out their duties in a fair, honorable and selfless manner, the public is ignoring their moral obligation by not holding them accountable to high moral and ethical standards.
Where is the outrage. The above issues are much more important to the country than holding a congressional investigation on baseball players who take steroids. But the steroid investigation and most of the highly publicized business of this congress, serves as a distraction. Why am I the only one who sees through all of these obvious distractions? Why am I the only one who is outraged by the obvious conflict of interest of many of our top lawmakers? The reason is that much today's popular culture has been so confused, they no longer can tell right from wrong, good from evil, moral from immoral. They are completely incapable of holding our leaders' feet to the fire because they have been taught that all forms of moral restraint is wrong. They have given our political leaders "Carte Blanche" when in comes to immoral and unethical behavior as long as they are convinced that their intentions are good and that they really care about them.
This first became clear to me when President Clinton was disbarred and impeached for lying in a court disposition and suborning perjury. This case involved Clinton having sex with a 21 year old intern (Monica Lewinsky) while Clinton was at work as president in the oval office. Clinton then lied in a court disposition about the incident, lied in a TV announcement specifically about the incident and urged Miss Lewinsky to lie in court. Clinton was not held accountable by the US Senate and was allowed to complete his term in office. Clinton left office the following year with an extremely high approval rating. This is when I first realized that our nation was in trouble. Not because of what the president did, but because the public and the Senate were apathetic, and did not hold him accountable. They justified his behavior and subsequent cover-up by saying that it was no big deal, he just lied about sex.
Today's politicians are not held accountable by the public. In today's popular culture, our moral standards have become blurred and watered down. In a world where boys are dressing like girls, girls are dressing like hookers, suburban teenagers emulate the gang-banging hoodlums of the ghettos, and obscene rap music is on the top ten hits list, how are we able to judge our legislators and hold them accountable? Our culture is too interested in demanding freedom of expression or speaking out for causes that they know little about. They rally behind popular catch phrases that make them feel good, like save the whales, save the planet, 'make love, not war', down with greedy corporations, no war for oil, 'Bush lied, people died', no tax cuts for the rich, AIDS awareness, gay pride, sexual freedom, freedom of expression, etc. Unfortunately they have little understanding of the importance of character and integrity or the unintended consequences of the causes that they support. They can't see how they are being used by the very politicians and special interests that they think are on their side. There are fewer and fewer people that are informed enough or motivated enough to hold our politicians accountable.
Human nature dictates that if nobody is holding you accountable, you will probably do something selfish, greedy and wrong if you are not restrained by moral and ethical standards. Once upon a time, most of us went to church on Sunday to remind us of this aspect of human nature. Today, Christianity is mocked and ridiculed because it is considered judgmental and restrictive. While everyone is having a good time letting it all hang out, the politicians and their associates are taking advantage of the public's gullibility. As they rake it all in, they recklessly destroy the future of a nation that took over two hundred years of hard work, perseverance and moral restraint to build. If we don't hold our politicians ethically and morally accountable, they will lead us all to hell-in-a-hand-basket.

Television, Computers, MP3 Players, Video Games, Cell Phones, the Breakdown of Morals, and the End of Our Society
I have been watching a lot of old TV shows on cable TV lately. Sit-coms like the Beverly Hillbillies, Sanford and Son, Mash, Mary Tyler Moore (my favorite), Home Improvement, The Jeffersons, Good times, Happy Days, Leave it to Beaver, The Brady Bunch, All in the Family, Star Trek, Hogan's Heroes and Andy Griffith. These shows were mostly made in the 60's and 70's when I was growing up. I didn't notice it when I originally watched these shows back in the 60s and 70s, but now I notice that all of these shows are sending out subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) liberal messages. As the years go by, the messages became more liberal and less subtle. When I was a kid, a big part of my view of the world was based on what I watched on TV. I probably watched 2 hours of TV per day. I remember wondering how my parents could have possibly existed without TV because there was no TV available when they grew up. My parents generation is know as "the greatest generation", because they sacrificed for their children, fought WWII and paved the way for today's prosperity and peace.
It is no accident that the sexual revolution, the feminist movement, the increase in divorce, the increase and acceptance of single mothers, the increase of blended families, the celebration of the working mother, frivolous student protests, the growth of social programs, divisiveness based on wealth and race, the growth of atheism, the pacifist movement, disrespect for the police and the military and the blind acceptance and celebration of everything weird and unusual have all become mainstream, as a result of the messages of these early TV shows and rock and roll music. Many of today's youths, have it so easy, that they never learn the hard truth about life, they learn from TV, movies and music. Others, who have grown up without a "normal family", or in an inner city ghetto, get the message that they are victims and entitled to sympathy and special treatment.
Studies show that today's average teen/tween spends 6 hours per day watching TV, playing video games, on the computer, listening to music and/or talking or text messaging on the cell phone. However, the messages that are sent out on today's media are very strong, blunt, explicit, disrespectful, inconsiderate, violent, sexual, homosexual, outright satanic and immoral. The view that today's youth have of the world is shaped by the messages offered by these medias, just like my generation's views were influenced by TV. But the messages that are sent out today are much stronger and are reinforced by the public schools, the universities, the news media and even by parents who grew up in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. The brainwashing that my generation got from watching Mash, Mary Tyler Moore, Happy Days, and "rock and roll" music, lead to the more blunt and extreme messages that are being disbursed by today's perverted media and education system.
Unfortunately, there is no turning back now. I wish we could go back to newspapers snail mail and the land-line, but we can't put the Jeanie back in the bottle. We are on on downward spiral toward a complete breakdown in morality. Widespread corruption and anarchy will surely follow. When the collapse in our society eventually comes, people will not work together, instead they will act like a mob fighting over the scraps of a once great civilization. They will undoubtedly blame the conservatives, the Christians, and anyone who has retained their moral compass as the cause of the subsequent breakdown of law and order. This will lead to real suffering and wholesale deaths in our country. Sorry if my forecast sounds extreme, and bleak, but I see no other outcome after we suffer a complete moral breakdown coupled with hard times from an economic disaster or an actual physical attack from a foreign or domestic source. Without a strong moral foundation we will be ultra-vulnerable to threats and hard times.
Do you think that I am completely nuts and over-reacting? Do you think that I have everything exactly 180 degrees out of kilter and liberalism will usher in a new era of universal love and peace? Or do you think we will just continue on the path of prosperity and individual freedoms?

Homosexual Marriage, the California Courts, and the Decay of Society
It is obvious that the California constitution does not, by any stretch of the imagination, have wording that prohibits this referendum. They claim that prohibiting homosexuals from marrying is discriminating against them because of their sexual orientation. Homosexuals are clearly not being discriminated against because they too have the right to marry. Marriage is defined as "the union of a man and a woman as husband and wife, which becomes the foundation for a home and family". Homosexuals clearly have the right to marry or choose not to marry under current law. What homosexual activists are trying to do, is to change the definition of marriage to include homosexual couples. By the same logic, the court can legitimize polygamy, incest, pedophilia and bestiality, with the same interpretation, if the participants are willing and if the court was so inclined. Those rulings would be just as outrageous as giving legitimacy to homosexual marriage.
I was unbelievably surprised to find that the definition of marriage has been changed in most dictionaries in order to fit the homosexual agenda and to include all possibilities, no matter how bizarre to the American culture. The definition that I printed above, is my understanding of marriage. However that definition was the fifteenth definition in a long list of seventeen definitions of marriage that I found on the web.
I will reprint them here. Definitions of marriage on the Web:

Like I said, I am surprised to find that the dictionary has confused the meaning of marriage to the point where it is unrecognizable. I was truly surprised to find this. If you have any old dictionaries, I would very much like to know how marriage is defined in them. See if you can find some dictionaries that are 10 years old or older, and see how they define marriage.
The fact is that homosexuals are not discriminated against because they are allowed to marry, under the law, just as heterosexual people are. It is their choice not to marry someone of the opposite sex. No-one is withholding that right from them. Everyone has the right to marry as it used to be defined (before they confused the definition).
Now let me get to the crux of the matter. Let me ask this question: Do homosexuals want the right to marry or do they just want to "raise a ruckus" and seek attention and mock religion and marriage? The obvious answer is the latter.
I have written many articles about how today's popular culture, celebrates that which is bad, evil and abnormal, and mocks that which is good, righteous and normal. I have given examples of how today's youth often put grotesque jewelry through piercings on their lips, nose, eyebrows, tongue, cheeks, nipples, bellybuttons and sex organs. They often use foul language and the boys often dress like and emulate gangsters, and the girls often dress like sleazy seductresses. They often wear clothing and tattoos that depict satanic symbols and symbols of evil. These symbols may include skull and crossbones (symbol of death, poison, and pirates), the iron cross (Nazi war medal), devils, serpents, flames of hell, weapons, barbed wire bracelets, spider webs, symbols of witchcraft and the occult. Often they try to out-do each other with bizarre haircuts and hair colorings, etc. Often they install giant speakers and powerful amplifiers that blast the most obscene music from their cars. They justify this outrageous behavior as freedom of expression, but if you try to "express" your feelings to them about this negative imagery and behavior, they will hurl the most vulgar insults at you, in an effort to silence you. It is clear that they are not interested in positive expressions, but only negative, shocking and offensive expressions. It is clear to me that this bizarre behavior is a scream for attention from kids who know that something is wrong. Our society has become so upside down that the youth are making up the rules and their parents are afraid to offend them by setting guidelines and insisting on moral, respectful and considerate behavior. Ironically, it is guidelines and boundaries that the children are screaming for with their outrageous, offensive behavior. They just feel more enraged because their parents and teachers don't care enough about them to set guidelines and insist on moral, respectful and considerate behavior. Our youth craves guidance. Instead parents, teachers and other adults encourage these bizarre cries for help, which just infuriates the youth even more, and drives them to become more offensive and more bizarre.
I feel that homosexual activists and sympathizers are acting in a similar way, by insisting that we accommodate them with the bizarre concept of gay marriage. The activists are screaming for attention in a way that is sure to offend and shock normal, decent, family oriented and religious people. The homosexual activists revel in the attention that they are getting on this matter and the outrage that they are stirring up. I do not believe that most homosexuals give a hoot about homosexual marriage. I believe that the activists are raising a ruckus in an effort to get attention, mock religion, blur the line between normal and abnormal behavior and to mock that which is good. They are screaming for attention because they know something is wrong, just as many of today's youth are screaming for attention with their popular culture.
About ten years ago, I asked a homosexual friend if he was in favor of homosexual marriage. At the time, he said he was not. However, after ten years of the activists, media and public schools normalizing homosexuality and the activists pushing for homosexual marriage and raising a ruckus about it, I am not sure how he feels today.
Civil unions or legal contracts would give homosexual couples the same legal rights as married couples, yet the activists insist on using the word marriage. They have succeeded in changing the definition of the word marriage in the dictionary and on the web. They have convinced republican judges in California that marriage between same sex couples is a "right" that "should" be in the constitution. They have convinced nearly half of all Americans that they are entitled to use the word marriage and the homosexual union be equivalent to heterosexual unions. Of course this is preposterous, because no children can come from this union. Homosexuals already have the right to adopt children. There can be no reason for them insisting on this "right" other that seeking attention and mocking marriage, religion, and that which is good and normal.
About 20 years ago, a lesbian co-worker was taking the day off of work to attend a homosexual rally. When I asked her the purpose of the rally, she laughed and said "to raise a ruckus". Today's homosexual activists are succeeding in raising a ruckus. The old mantra "we're here, we're queer, and we're in your face" is the true purpose of the gay activists when they push for homosexual marriage, when they hold "gay pride parades", and when they have bizarre public exhibitions such as the Folsom Street Fair, in San Fransisco.
The exact same reasoning applies to those who oppose the military because of the "don't ask, don't tell" policy. Many universities have kicked ROTC off of their campuses. They claim the reason to be because that the military discriminates against homosexuals. People who are fervently against the military and all that it does and stands for, are the ones protesting for homosexuals to openly be allowed in the services. These people are disingenuous because they resent the military and everything it stands for, and just use the homosexual issue as a way of attacking the military and making problems for the military. The same logic applies to those who are insisting on homosexual marriage. They resent religion and the institution of marriage and by calling for homosexual marriage they are mocking and weakening those institutions that they feel resentment toward. Marriage and family is the foundation of our society. They are too nearsighted to see that when society falls apart, they too will go down with the ship.
Unfortunately, the institutions of marriage, religion and the "intact family" have already been weakened in today's America. The Family is the foundation that our society was built on. This foundation is being removed before my very eyes. Nearly thirty percent of today's women give birth without the benefit of marriage. Nearly half of all marriages end in divorce. Families that do stay together, often have two working parents, which often leave their children unsupervised. The results are clear to see in today's popular culture, but more importantly, I see a lack of integrity in our political leaders that I have never seen before. Our Congress have found legal ways of being corrupt and undermining our country, while entrenching themselves in power and becoming richer. This is done in plain sight of the public, but the public is so confused, they can no longer tell right from wrong, truth from lies or good from evil. While the public is distracted with this nonsense about homosexual marriage, our freedoms, our wealth, our strength and our sovereignty is being taken away before our very eyes. But that is a topic for another day.

The Problem with America & Questionnaire
Our nation was built on family values and spiritual principles, that are being removed from today's culture in wholesale fashion. Our nation is becoming a house of cards without a foundation. Our economy is propped up by debts that we can-not repay. Hard work, saving and sacrifice, selflessness and humility are not valued by to days popular culture. Instead, popularity, showing off, instant gratification, thrill seeking, and sexuality and happiness have become our new values. I see no way that this next generation can find the courage, strength, selflessness and righteousness to sustain the American way of life and the wealth and liberties we have become accustomed to. Freedom requires restraint. Today, most restraints are considered intolerant, racist, homophobic, sexist, xenophobic or just plain mean.
The following ideas are being made popular in today's public schools, universities, media, and the arts (music, films, TV, etc).
Which of the following statements do you agree with?
1) Man-made global warming due to CO2 emissions is a proven fact.
2) All war is wrong.
3) The U.S. is an imperialist nation.
4) All foreigners should be allowed to immigrate to the US and become citizens.
5) Racism is a big problem in the U.S.
6) Brutality and racism is a big problem in US police, court and prison systems.
7) Believing in religion is an unreasonable belief.
8) Darwin's theory is more reasonable than creation.
9) The US military is often charged with murderous cruel and evil missions.
10) Homosexuality is normal and healthy.
11) Sex outside of marriage is normal and healthy.
12) All types of families are equal(single moms, homosexual, blended families, etc.) in that they all lead to equally healthy development, education and success of children coming from these families equally. Thus equally leading to a better future for America.

Party Like a Rock Star
I remember as a child, tuning to various radio stations randomly, sometimes stopping to listen to the latest rock and roll hit. If someone would come near I would feel embarrassed of what I was listening to and quickly turn it off or change the station. These were by today's standards innocent songs like "Stuck on a Feeling", "Baby come on Light my Fy-er", "I shot the Sheriff,( but I didn't shoot the deputy too"), "Ground Control to Major Tom" and "Muskrat Love" are a few that come to mind. Silly but harmless songs. These "top 40" hits could be found on AM radio stations.
FM radio and hard rock was beginning to become popular. I found it ironic that the very stations that had the most vile, noisy, and angry rock and roll music had the quietest most soft spoken DJs. Looking back on it, this was no accident. This irony was used to legitimize this new media that would hypnotically lead many of our youth on a path of drugs, godlessness and amoral behavior. Sex, drugs and rock and roll was the new motto. These new "hard rock" stations could only be found on the FM band , which up until then was not widely listened to. Most all radios at the time only covered the AM band. Many youngsters bought new-fangled stereophonic FM tuners with external speakers and turntables, just to hear FM radio and play albums. If you were hip to all the latest transistorized stereo equipment, you were known as an "audiofile". Before the invasion of rock and roll music, the FM band was reserved for public radio broadcasts and classical music. Things that the average Joe wasn't interested in. Like I said the, the soft spoken DJ was no accident. Rock and roll was introduced discretely. This was meant to deceive or confuse the occasional FM listener of the time when accidentally came across one of these new vile, angry hostile and noisy rock and roll stations.
A new instrument had to be introduced for this offensive media that disguised itself as music, it was the electric guitar. Have you ever seen the waveform of an electric guitar on an oscilloscope? I have. It's not like any other instrument. Most instruments have a waveform that displays a sine wave with some roughness along the curves. That roughness is what gives each instrument it's individual character, a pure sine wave without this roughness would sound like a whistle or a flute. On an oscilloscope an electric guitar is almost all roughness which practically covers up the sine wave. In other words, the sound that an electric guitar produces is almost pure distortion. In live performances the sound is intentionally turned up so loud that it hurts the ears physically, and in some cases causes permanent damage. Most Rock and roll musicians suffer some form of ear injury.
Now let's look at the musicians. For the most part they are amoral people, many addicted to hard drugs like heroine and cocaine. When they are on the road, most bands have a "roadie" that specializes in of finding and purchasing drugs, usually heroine and cocaine, and bringing it back to the band members. They don't like traveling with drugs because of the fear of getting busted. I learned of this when I lived in L.A. and I had a close friend who was an ex rock and roll musician that traveled on tour with famous bands. They are known to destroy hotel rooms, break furniture and windows, start things on fire, burn and stain the carpets, damage the walls, etc. Although they usually pay for the damages, most hotels don't want these wealthy but reckless, careless, narcissistic, contemptuous human beings. Of course they are most all womanizers, with many groupies to choose from each night. Where is the outrage from the women's rights groups, and the fathers with young daughters? Oh, that's right, ironically they are in the audience themselves applauding these users of women, and narcotics. Yet when you see them on a TV or radio talk show, amazingly, they are usually soft spoken just like the DJs of the early FM days.
A popular term these days is " party like a rock star", the fore mentioned behavior is exactly what that term is referring to. Also some other mainstream terms are: "that rocks", "rock-on", "rockin' the house","let's rock and roll" . These terms have become so mainstream yet they refer the the extremely negative, destructive, and narcissistic behavior that I mentioned above. Am I the only one who sees the truth? I cringe when I hear these terms, and I hear them often. These terms not only condone very negative behavior, they elevate it and celebrate it, some even worship it. How have we gotten to the point where it is commonplace to celebrate bad behavior? These terms are being used by teachers and professional people who are trying to be cool. Why has bad behavior become cool? And why is being cool our number one value? Just look at the names of some of these rock bands, "The Grateful Dead", "Guns and Roses","Cheap Trick"(a trick is what a prostitute does), "AC/DC (this means bi-sexual) just to name a few. The song titles are also offensive like: "Riding my Train, High on Cocaine", Highway to hell. Whenever I see a bumper sticker on a car with a negative slogan I can be sure it is the name of some new band like "Lost" or"Abused".
The number one top hit TV show is American Idle, which is all about glorifying music and the people who sing it. People idolize rock stars and would almost give their lives to become one. That is the premise for this show. Just the word "idol" in the title seems blasphemous to me, it's a negative word, it means false God. And that is exactly what these contestants are so very much hoping to become, an idol, a false God, a celebrity with fans, with people to worship them. Why am I the only one who sees it. THE EMPEROR HAS NO CLOTHES!
Another phenomenon that is happening in today's society is the pervasiveness of music into all areas of our lives, day and night, working and playing. Due to modern technology, many people walk down the street with a gadget in their ear, pumping this filth directly into their brain. This type of music is commonplace in grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, malls and in almost every workplace. It is just about everywhere and impossible to escape from. I was surprised when I saw pillow speakers for sale. These are speakers built directly into pillows so your mind can be polluted twenty four hours a day, even while you are sleeping. I don't even like to call it music, because music should be beautiful, uplifting and soothing, as in the expression "music soothes the savage beast". Today's music(hip-hop, rap) is nothing of the sort. It is angry, it is hateful, it is intentionally racist and promoting of violence, crime and the use of drugs. It is not disguised or subtle, it is in your face.
A very common hand gesture of today's youth is: holding up the forefinger and pinkie, while folding over the other three fingers. This symbol was made popular by heavy metal bands. This is meant to represent the devil. The theme of heavy metal music is Satanism. The main purpose of Satanism is to mock Christianity. Heavy metal is an off-shoot of rock and roll. There are also many rock and roll songs with Satanic themes. The Rolling Stone's "Sympathy for the Devil" being one of the more popular ones.
Of course, rock and roll was just testing the water to see how low popular music could go. Next came heavy metal which popularized Satanism, then punk rock and grunge which was for misfits without a cause, then hip-hop and gangster rap which is the most racist, sexist, violent, music genre to date. Not surprisingly, Hip-Hop and gangster rap are the most popular among today's youth. There is no doubt in my mind, that the rock and roll music of the sixties, paved the way for the rap music of today. There, I did it. I discredited the one thing that today's society holds so dear to its heart, the rock-star and popular music.

The Most Terrifying Global Warming Video That You Will Ever See
It's called "The Most Terrifying Video You'll ever See".
This is an example of how teachers and professors are using emotion, rather than reason, to get people to believe in political, economic and social change, due to global warming. This professor makes the case that the "facts" don't matter. He says that because the consequences would be so severe if global warming were true, that we must act now even if global warming turns out to be untrue.
1) It is so easy to rebuke this teacher's theory. First of, if we act now, there will be other costs besides the economic costs that, the teacher claims to be the only cost of acting. It is already happening. Because we are diverting much of our corn crops to be used in ethanol production, the price of food has gone up substantially, and famines are already happening in parts of the world because of it. For the first time ever, the US is importing wheat because much land that was used to grow wheat, is now being used for corn crops.
2) The main reason why the planet can support more people than it ever has before is because of the machinery that the industrial revolution has brought us. These machines include farm equipment and transportation equipment and refrigeration equipment and water supplies and plumbing and medical equipment and construction equipment that build the safest, most "weatherproof" homes that the world has ever seen. All of this runs on fossil fuel. By substantially reducing the use of fossil fuel, it is inevitable that millions would die around the world.
3) Do we know what the solution is? If we can't be sure that the problem of global warming exists; How can we be so sure that an extremely costly solution would be effective? Perhaps the solution would be completely ineffective, or even worse; what if our "solution" inadvertently throws the planet's climate into a devastating "Ice Age"? It would be much harder for us to adapt to global cooling than global warming. Much more plants and animals would surely die as a result of global cooling. A warmer climate and more CO2 in the atmosphere, promotes more plant life, which means more food will be available on the planet. The planets climate has always been in flux since the formation of the earth. Life has always adapted to that change.
4) Even if we could be sure of an effective solution; Is the government capable of implementing it? We are constantly hearing politicians, on both sides of the isle saying that "government is broken". They say this in regard to our ineffectual border security, the downturn in the economy, the social security and medicare system that is going bankrupt, the national debt that is spiraling out of control, crime, corruption, poverty, education, etc. If government can not solve these concrete problems, that have clear and practical solutions, why do people think that we can solve a vague and undefined problem like global warming?
5) The most powerful answer to that video is the spiritual one. The teacher says that the threat is so great that we must address it weather it is real or not. I would like to ask this teacher if he believes in God an the eternal soul? If he answers no, I would like to know why not, after all, the possibility of spending the rest of eternity suffering in hell, sure out-ways the cost of not preparing ourselves for the afterlife. According to his beliefs, he should be instructing his students to repent, to ask God for forgiveness and try to live a righteous and spiritually correct life. After all, the consequences of going to hell are so great, that even if we don't believe in hell, it would be prudent to do all that we can to avoid that possibility, because the consequences would be so devastating. The consequences would be far worse than global warming. So, if this teacher truly believes his theory, he should immediately spend all of his time preaching, rather than teaching. He should be in favor of school prayer and school bible study, just in-case. After all, we only spend less than a hundred years on earth and the rest of eternity many depend on our actions here.

American Universities vs. God, Family, and Country
Bill Ayres is an anti-American radical who has admitted to bombing police stations and government offices. There were no casualties, only property damage in those attacks. He and his wife did these subversive acts as members of a radical group called the Weather Underground during the 70's. They avoided conviction because their case was dismissed on the technicality of an improper search and the evidence was not allowed in court. As Recently as 2001, after the 9/11 attacks, Aires has been recorded as saying that he had no remorse for his role in the bombings in the 70's, he only regrets that he did not do more, because they were ineffective.
The astonishing part of this story is that Bill Ayres is a Professor at a prestigious Chicago University. He became a professor after his much publicized terrorist activities in the 70's. It was well know to the university that he was a radical left wing terrorist when he was hired. The astonishing part is that he is celebrated for his anti-American terrorist activity on the university campus by the students as well as the faculty.
All of this has come to light recently because it has been found out that Barack Obama has ties to Aires. They appeared on the same panel together in several university discussions as recently as 2003. When asked about it, Obama said that he was friendly with Ayres and that there children go to the same school.
Another example of an anti-American radical university professor is the infamous Ward Churchill. You probably remember the scandal that erupted a several years ago after Churchill made anti-American and anti-Semitic remarks concerning the terrorist attacks on 9/11. Churchill compared the businessmen in the World Trade Center to Nazis. He also said that the 3,000 people who perished that day deserved what they got. After much public outcry, the university held hearings in an effort to find reason to fire the tenured professor. Churchill was put on a paid leave while these hearings went on for 2 years. The university could and would not dismiss Churchill for preaching his America hatred, to the students. They said it was his right to present unpopular views. Finally they were able to dig up dirt on Churchill and eventually he was terminated. It seemed that he had plagiarized many papers and fraudulently claimed that he was an American Indian when he originally got hired under an affirmative action program.
There is an astonishing epilogue to this story. To this day, Ward Churchill is an invited guest speaker, who is often called upon by that very same university, to give radical anti-American lectures. And he is a hero to many of the student's for fighting for what he believes in.
On the other hand, I am constantly hearing reports from Michelle Malkin, Anne Coulter, Sean Hannedy, and many other conservative figures who are constantly, heckled, ridiculed, have vile racist and sexist insults hurled at them, and death threats made, when they attempt to speak on a university campus. They have also been attacked and dragged off of the stage by angry students who don't agree with their conservative views. This has forced most conservative speakers to hire body guards when they speak on university campuses. But for the most part, they have been silenced on campus, because it is not worth it for them to go in the first place. The universities have become too dangerous for conservative speakers.
Unfortunately, everything I am hearing confirms that this behavior is common on today's universities. Negative guest speakers are common. They have prostitutes and strippers giving lectures, and demonstrations, that glamorize their way of life. Hip-hop and gangster rap music are celebrated with all of it's negativity. They are installing foot-baths and prayer rooms for Muslims. The president of Iran spoke at Columbia to a cheering crowd. But if a Christian or conservative gains access to the university, it is so dangerous that he must have his own body guards.
I have not exaggerated or embellished anything. These are the facts to the best of my knowledge. University students are being taught to accept and embrace the most negative, destructive, wrong types of views and behavior. At the same time they are being encouraged to disdain anything that is good, noble or asks for restraint of any kind. They are specifically being taught disdain for God, family and country. I can see no good outcome when this current generation of college students runs our nation.

Why Does Today's Popular Culture Embrace "Symbols of Evil"?
These are mostly symbols of hate, and the lyrics in much of today's music is hateful and intolerant. Yet when I object to these type of symbols, attitude, or music, or foul language, I am the one who is said to be intolerant.

Loud Pipes Save Lives?
Many people say that "loud pipes save lives". They claim that drivers of cars and trucks don't see the smaller motorcycles. So by having loud pipes, they're sure to be heard. That answer can not be sincere because the 55 MPH speed limit also saved lives. Are all of you bikers who say that loud pipes save lives also in favor of going back to the 55 MPH speed limit? Do you all wear helmets in states where they are not required? Why don't you just drive Volvo's instead of riding motorcycles if safety is such a big concern?
The real answer is seen in much of today's popular culture. In this upside down world, bad is good and wrong is right. Anything that draws negative attention to yourself, and "pisses people off" is cool and popular. This explains why foul language is so popular these days. A popular hand gesture among today's youth is the sign of the devil (made popular by heavy metal bands). The symbol of death (skull and crossbones) is the most popular symbol seen in today's popular culture. Cars install 1,000 watt sound systems with mega bass speakers that blast gangster rap music that can be heard blocks away. Motorcyclists actually try to emulate the "outlaw motorcycle gangs" which are known for drinking and drugging and terrorizing innocent people. Cool huh? Sure, in a Bizaro world.

Popular Culture, Weird vs. Normal
In today's popular culture, most people under 30, and many aging hippies, teachers, professors, and journalists will tell you that one would be considered weird if they held many of my values. They will not only call me weird but consider me "evil", judgmental, sexist, xenophobic, racist and non-inclusive. Most likely they would not even be able to discuss these things with me without becoming angry, emotional , hateful and insulting. If home-schooled children are considered "weird " it only means that their parents were successful in instilling them with positive values, including respect for God, family, country and their eternal soul. And not the destructive, arrogant, selfish, disrespectful values of today's popular culture that is tearing this society apart before my very eyes.
