Most of my long and passionate debates with liberals usually wind up at a stand-off after we have both reduced a complicated topic down to its basic core. At this point, further discussion would be useless, we must "agree to disagree" because we are both steadfast in our core beliefs.
As a result of many discussions with liberals, I have identified the following six opposing core beliefs.
1) Liberals tend to trust government more than business.
Conservatives tend to trust business more than government.
2) Liberals believe in collectivism.
Conservatives believe in individualism.
3) Liberals are intolerant of certain beliefs.
Conservatives are judgmental of certain behaviors.
4) Liberals tend to believe in moral relativism.
Conservatives tend to believe in moral absolutes.
5) Liberals believe that society can, and must be, perfected.
Conservatives believe that there will always be a struggle between "good and evil".
6) Liberals tend to be guided more by their emotions.
Conservatives tend to be guided more by reason.

The Political Dichotomy Of Liberals Vs. Conservatives
A political dichotomy does exist in today's America. However, this dichotomy is not between Republicans and Democrats, it is between conservatives and liberals. There is also a spineless group in the middle called moderates.
Democratic and Republican officials both fit into the same group. Our elected officials are politicians, not political ideologues. Our elected officials from both parties are narcissistic, power hungry POLITICIANS. They are mostly ALL of the same ilk. As the federal government grows in size, scope and power, our elected officials grow increasingly more corrupt. Politicians are hardly guided by political ideology. Politicians deceive and manipulate an unsuspecting public for their own selfishness, empowerment, enrichment and egotistical desires.
Having said that, I do not see many liberals running down to their local military recruiting office to sign up to serve and protect our great nation. They are too busy vandalizing the recruiting offices and harassing our military. Today's voluntary armed forces are made up overwhelmingly of conservatives who believe in a power greater than themselves, a loving God, just like our farmers.
Liberals, on average, donate much less money and time toward charitable giving, yet they insist that "other peoples money" be confiscated in the form of taxes for the charities (social programs) of THEIR choice.
My personal experience has taught me that most farmers work long hours and risk all of their assets every year in order to grow food at a very low price for the rest of us. My experience has shown me that most hardworking farmers in rural America are conservatives. They are a dying breed as their children flee the rural areas and fill our cities where they are free to seek higher education (indoctrination), and the thrills and luxuries of our modern world that modern farming has made possible for the vast majority of the American public.
I have spent several periods of my life as a homeless bum in large cities. I have found that most all of the bums were drug addicts, alcoholics and mentally ill people. I fit into all three categories. Liberals insist on enabling these neerdowells with social programs that help them maintain themselves with food and shelter from the elements, while they commit crimes to support their drug habits.
It was liberals that closed the mental hospitals in order to give mentally ill people their freedom. Now they have the freedom to roam the streets aimlessly and defecate and urinate in the streets and on themselves as they harass ordinary people who have the misfortune of passing by.
It is also true that most people who professionally sing, dance and are professional phonies (actors) are liberals. Also, most indoctrinators (teachers and professors) are liberals. Most sexual deviants (transgender, transsexuals and homosexuals) that I have met are liberals.
A dichotomy exists between spiritual leaders and modern educators, between producers of goods and providers of entertainment, between those who are responsible and those who are irresponsible, between those who fight for our American culture, traditions, values and institutions and who want to tear down our culture, tradition, values and institutions, between rugged individuals and an ever-growing centralized government. The latter groups make us weaker, poorer and less free. The former groups have made America the wealthiest, freest, most benevolently powerful nation that this world has ever seen.

Why Liberals Can't Debate Rationally

I think that I have discovered a core difference between conservatives and liberals. (Yes, I am making a generalization. I have found that most of my generalizations are generally true.)
Liberals often shy away from reasoned debate. Perhaps that is why they are not successful at talk radio. Liberals like to be encouraged, validated and complemented by those who think like them. To a liberal, it is abhorrent, inflammatory and offensive to imply that their conclusions could be faulty. Liberals feel that they are being attacked when someone disagrees with them. When humor is used, they feel that they are being mocked. That is why they get defensive and make claims of being victimized by offensive and inflammatory remarks. To me, speaking the truth is never as offensive as being insincere.
When challenged, liberals often strike back emotionally, with name calling, character assassinations and discrediting anyone that disagrees with them because their feelings and self esteem are hurt when someone tries to prove that their opinion is faulty. Liberals often think that those who challenge their ideas are attacking them personally and they become combative. They would much rather discuss topics with like minded people who validate their opinions, rather than those who would challenge them. Liberal views are generally based on their own self esteem. They espouse opinions that make them feel good about themselves. This is why good intentions often outweigh unintended consequences. Liberals are easily duped into supporting those who articulate positions that make them feel better about themselves. Tough love is wasted on liberals. Liberals often dismiss the cold hard truth as mean spirited.
Juan Williams, NPR commentator and a liberal political pundit, recently said that although most of his views are quite liberal, sometimes his views are not liberal enough to please those on the far left. He said that the criticism that he receives from the far left is far more vicious and personal than the criticism that he receives from the far right. Dennis Miller, a left wing Hollywood comedian who turned conservative after 9/11, says the exact same thing.
Of course you will now dutifully tell me that I am being unfair by stereotyping liberals. You will take the high ground and claim that you never use such unfair tactics to describe conservatives. Well, if the shoe fits, wear it. What I am saying applies to most all liberals that I engage in debate with. To sum it up, liberals prefer to commiserate with people who validate their views, rather than debating those who disagree. Liberals find it offensive when someone else thinks that they are wrong. If a liberal can not convince you that he is right, then you are being narrow-minded, irrational, unscientific, bigoted, offensive or inflammatory. Those are the conclusions that liberals often come to about most of my opinions. Liberals do not seek to find common-ground. Liberals do not respectfully disagree. Liberals often consider my opinions and those who think like me as inferior. Often liberals will make excuses for not engaging into a debate in the arena of ideas. They will say that they don't want to lower themselves or they will discredit their opponent.
I base the above opinions on my personal experience.

Do Liberals Have a Feminized Agenda?

Call me a male chauvinist pig, but I believe that men and women are intrinsically different, with different strengths and weaknesses.
Examples of feminine strengths include: compassion, empathy, tenderness, nurturing support of children and appreciation of style, beauty and art. Masculine strengths include: discipline, strength, reason, intellectual curiosity, courage and competitiveness.
There are also negative attributes pertaining to each sex. These need to be restrained by the opposite sex. Negative attributes for women include: Jealousy, seduction, manipulation, vanity and unreasoned emotion. Negative attributes common in men include: violence, irresponsibility, intimidation and sexual deviancy.
Some women do possess the desirable characteristics suited for leadership. However, I believe that men are intrinsically better suited to make the tough dispassionate decisions, required by leadership. The emotional detachment of many men (which women constantly complain about), leads to less emotional distraction, when making decisions of great consequence. On the other hand, women are generally more suited to provide the nurturing support, required to raise the best next generation of Americans. The child rearing instinct is so strong in most women, that most children who live with a single parent, live with their mother, at her insistence. Of course these are all generalizations. But I maintain that these generalizations are "generally" accurate.
The popular notion that men's and women's roles are interchangeable in society is not backed-up by reason, common sense and my personal experience. Liberalism is basically a feminine view-point, which many of today's men have adapted. The liberal agenda, places much emphasis on children, child safety, the importance of feelings, and the importance of the arts. This is why liberals are protective of our soldiers, rather that motivated to win wars and strengthen our nation.
Many liberals belief's border on socialism. Socialism is a vain attempt at trying to make sure that everyone is taken-care" of. Many of today's liberals are driven by emotion, rather than reason. This is why liberals dominate the "arts", while conservatives dominate math and engineering fields.
Most everything that I write in my articles is obvious to me, because my thoughts are based on reason, commonsense and my personal observations. I find it amazing that a majority of our society, has been so brainwashed, that they no longer rely on their own eyes, experiences and common sense.
Men and women are intrinsically different, with different strengths and weaknesses that complement each other. Of course there are exceptions, but for the most part, you do not see many male pre-school teachers or female auto mechanics. However, in recent years, we have seen a huge increase in the number of female doctors and real estate professionals. This is because , in a free society, people choose careers that they feel most suited for.
Affirmative action in education and employment, pushes people into fields that they are not qualified for or not suited for. This results the in failure and dissatisfaction of many of the participants, as well as lower overall performance in a particular field.
Many local and state governments recognize that women intrinsically have less physical strength and stature than men. As a result, they have lowered the physical requirements for women entering the police and fire departments. In these cases, the overall performance of those police and fire department is diminished, because strength and stature are required to subdue criminals and carry victims out of burning buildings. However, our feminized society is more interested in assuaging feelings of envy, rather than achieving positive results.
Have welfare programs reduced poverty? Have liberal judges reduced crime? Have liberal public school programs improved education? Have public housing programs reduced homelessness? These questions are rarely asked. Failed feminized ideas are often continued and expanded in an effort to show that we care about a problem, regardless of the outcome. When someone stands up to point out that a social program is not working and should be eliminated, he is demonized as being heartless, hateful and bigoted. This is why liberal programs face little opposition.
Female weaknesses are often justified and female strengths are held up as examples for men to follow. Many male strengths are considered to be weaknesses. This explains most aspects of the liberal agenda. For example: The public schools and universities, embrace and celebrate sensitive female characteristics, while deploring that which is brutish, competitive and male. Our current President, George Bush, is nothing but an brutish war-monger, in the eyes of many liberals, despite the fact that his unpopular decisions have kept our homeland safe, in the war on terror, for the past seven years.
Discipline, restraint, traditional family values and religion are not popular among liberals, because they diminish the seductive and manipulative powers that femininity affords. However, manipulation, seduction and class envy are formidable weapons in the liberals' arsenal.
Do not underestimate to power of females' secret weapons of tears(victim hood), seduction(sexuality), and deception (little white lies with ends that justify their means). No man can stand up to these weapons, and this is why liberals and women have gained the upper hand. These negative aspects of femininity have to be clearly seen for what they are, if balance is to be restored. Only then can our culture be restored to the strength, prosperity and freedom that has made the US the freest, wealthiest and most benevolently powerful nation that this world has ever seen.
Unfortunately, Republicans are also becoming feminized and becoming swallowed-up by today's feminized agenda. There is a vacuum in conservative leadership. Who is willing to speak the obvious but harsh truth? Just like in the fable:" The Emperors New Clothes", the cold hard truth can be dangerous and may not be popular at first. However, the only way to survive as a culture and a nation, is to place reason, discipline and courage, before emotions, seductions and deceptions.

Why Are Our Politicians Leading Us To Hell-in-a-Hand-basket?
Why are our politicians unresponsive to the public? How come they are constantly trying to convince us that they will solve the same old problems that they themselves have caused? Does it seem like this country is headed in the wrong direction? Why is this happening and what can we do? The answer is that our lawmakers are not being held accountable by the public. Today's culture considers it wrong to be judgemental if no laws are broken. America has lost its moral compass. The people who write the laws are experts at using the law to their advantage, especially if they are not held morally accountable.
Our politicians have found new ways to become corrupt while still working within the constraints of the law. For example, an alarming number of congressmen have family members who work for companies that benefit from legislation before their relative in Congress. For example, Congressman Murtha has a brother who sits on the board of directors for 10 different defense contractors. Congressman Murtha is the chairman of the House defense appropriations subcommittee, and authorizes defense contracts that benefit his brothers firms. Murtha is one of the most outspoken anti-war congressmen in the Congress. This is the perfect cover for him to hide behind while he funnels hundreds of millions of dollars towards his brothers businesses that produce the machinery and weapons of war.
Also, as many as ten percent (some sources claim 25%) of congressmen have a family members being paid as a lobbyist by a company or country that benefits by pending legislation before congress. Congresswoman Barbara Boxer's husband's business, that involves trade with China, is booming. She is among the wealthiest people in the congress due to her husband's business dealings and favorable trade policies that the congress has approved with China.
Another legal form of corruption that high government officials engage in, is working as lobbyists themselves after leaving government office. Former secretary of state, Madeline Albright, now works as a registered foreign agent, as a lobbyist for the United Arab Emeritus. President Clinton has been hired to give speeches for the UAE. He was payed fees of over a million dollars per speech by the UAE. Are Clinton's words actually worth that much or is the UAE actually buying his influence?
Another outrageous congressman is William Jefferson. Congressman Jefferson was the target of a two year investigation which culminated when investigators found 90,000 in cash in the congressman's home freezer. The congressman was charged last year with racketeering, soliciting bribes for himself and his family, fraud, money laundering, obstruction of justice, conspiracy and violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. His brother and sister were also indicted on related charges. The congressman is fighting the case, claiming that he was set up, and that the subsequent search of his congressional office was illegal. Congressman Jefferson has remained in office for nearly two years since he was in indicted on these charges and is planning to run for re-election in November. Congressman Jefferson has used technicalities in the law to have evidence suppressed, and has a good chance of beating his case legally. In my wildest imagination, I can not come up with a rational explanation for Jefferson to have 90,000 dollars hidden in his home freezer. Especially since two men have already been convicted of bribing the Congressman.
Why is this man still in office? How can this man run for re-election. The sad truth is that he will probably win the election and hold on to his congressional seat in November because of a practice called gerrymandering and public apathy. Gerrymandering is the practice of mapping out congressional districts so that they are either predominantly democratic or predominantly republican. This practice usually insures that an incumbent candidate wins in congressional elections. Both parties support the practice of gerrymandering because it helps the lawmakers retain their seat regardless of the general approval of the voters. Since democrats usually vote for democrats, Jefferson will probably get re-elected because his congressional district has been mapped out in such a way that the residents are probably 90% democrat. Gerrymandering is clearly an unfair, unethical practice, but it remains in practice because it benefits the people who write the laws.
What is most astounding to me, is that there is no outrage from the public about these obvious cases of conflict of interest that impact on our nations national security and political system. The public is either asleep at the switch(not paying attention) or have no moral compass of their own and are unable to distinguish right from wrong. Or worse than that, they have been taught that passing judgment is wrong. If no laws were broken, who are they to judge. But these are the people who write the laws, they must be held accountable to the universal spiritual principles that our country was founded upon. Few people are holding our lawmakers accountable and the vast majority of the public just does not care. Just like the law-makers are ignoring their moral obligation to serve the public and carry out their duties in a fair, honorable and selfless manner, the public is ignoring their moral obligation by not holding them accountable to high moral and ethical standards.
Where is the outrage. The above issues are much more important to the country than holding a congressional investigation on baseball players who take steroids. But the steroid investigation and most of the highly publicized business of this congress, serves as a distraction. Why am I the only one who sees through all of these obvious distractions? Why am I the only one who is outraged by the obvious conflict of interest of many of our top lawmakers? The reason is that much today's popular culture has been so confused, they no longer can tell right from wrong, good from evil, moral from immoral. They are completely incapable of holding our leaders' feet to the fire because they have been taught that all forms of moral restraint is wrong. They have given our political leaders "Carte Blanche" when in comes to immoral and unethical behavior as long as they are convinced that their intentions are good and that they really care about them.
This first became clear to me when President Clinton was disbarred and impeached for lying in a court disposition and suborning perjury. This case involved Clinton having sex with a 21 year old intern (Monica Lewinsky) while Clinton was at work as president in the oval office. Clinton then lied in a court disposition about the incident, lied in a TV announcement specifically about the incident and urged Miss Lewinsky to lie in court. Clinton was not held accountable by the US Senate and was allowed to complete his term in office. Clinton left office the following year with an extremely high approval rating. This is when I first realized that our nation was in trouble. Not because of what the president did, but because the public and the Senate were apathetic, and did not hold him accountable. They justified his behavior and subsequent cover-up by saying that it was no big deal, he just lied about sex.
Today's politicians are not held accountable by the public. In today's popular culture, our moral standards have become blurred and watered down. In a world where boys are dressing like girls, girls are dressing like hookers, suburban teenagers emulate the gang-banging hoodlums of the ghettos, and obscene rap music is on the top ten hits list, how are we able to judge our legislators and hold them accountable? Our culture is too interested in demanding freedom of expression or speaking out for causes that they know little about. They rally behind popular catch phrases that make them feel good, like save the whales, save the planet, 'make love, not war', down with greedy corporations, no war for oil, 'Bush lied, people died', no tax cuts for the rich, AIDS awareness, gay pride, sexual freedom, freedom of expression, etc. Unfortunately they have little understanding of the importance of character and integrity or the unintended consequences of the causes that they support. They can't see how they are being used by the very politicians and special interests that they think are on their side. There are fewer and fewer people that are informed enough or motivated enough to hold our politicians accountable.
Human nature dictates that if nobody is holding you accountable, you will probably do something selfish, greedy and wrong if you are not restrained by moral and ethical standards. Once upon a time, most of us went to church on Sunday to remind us of this aspect of human nature. Today, Christianity is mocked and ridiculed because it is considered judgmental and restrictive. While everyone is having a good time letting it all hang out, the politicians and their associates are taking advantage of the public's gullibility. As they rake it all in, they recklessly destroy the future of a nation that took over two hundred years of hard work, perseverance and moral restraint to build. If we don't hold our politicians ethically and morally accountable, they will lead us all to hell-in-a-hand-basket.
Our politicians have found new ways to become corrupt while still working within the constraints of the law. For example, an alarming number of congressmen have family members who work for companies that benefit from legislation before their relative in Congress.

The Global Warming Myth Revisited
I believe that a concerted effort is being made to deceive the American public on the issue of man-made global warming. I am not saying that a conspiracy exists between Al Gore, the teachers union, the university professors, the mainstream media, the politicians, the Hollywood elite, and many private corporations. What I am saying is that all of these groups have their own reasons to further the deception of man-made global warming. Most people have a propensity for blaming human activity on the current global climate cycles and like to feel that they are part of the solution, rather than part of the problem. We all like to think of ourselves as the good-guys, and by getting on the man-made global warming bandwagon, we can prove that we are good people because we care about the planet. Some see an opportunity to make money or gain power and popularity. What could be a more worthy and noble cause? To doubt them or debate them on the science is often taken as a personal insult, as if you were calling their character into question.
I can simply prove my point by using Al Gore's words. On the subject of man made global warming Al Gore said: "the science is settled, the debate is over." He also said "global warming is the number one moral issue of our time." The debate is over as far as Al Gore is concerned because he does not wish to participate in debate. When he is asked about specific opposing studies, he attacks the character of the group making the studies and calls the source of their funding into question. Recently Al Gore said people who do not believe that global warming is real and caused by man-made Co2 emissions, are a tiny minority, and can be compared with those who still think the Earth is flat or that the moon landing was staged. In effect he stifles all opposing views. In fact, there is a petition signed by 31,000 scientists, who say that the debate is not over and are trying to make their views heard. Click here to read more about this petition.
Al Gore is just one man. Where the greater deception lies is that the news media, the government, the public schools, the universities and the arts all perpetuate this myth. Many business also take advantage. Such as motels that have placards in the rooms that say “Save the planet”, and then instruct you how to save energy by requesting that your towels and bedding not be changed daily. Polls show that the number one reason why people buy the hybrid Toyota Prius, is not to reduce global warming, it's not to save gas. The number one reason for Prius ownership is to make a statement that shows I care about the planet. Up until recently when fuel prices skyrocketed, the high cost of buying a hybrid automobile did not justify the fuel savings. People bought Priuses as a status symbol to prove that they were willing to spend extra money to help fight global warming. This whole man made global warming myth is the perfect ruse for altruists. What better moral cause that saving the planet with all it's inhabitants. This ruse is sure to bring much self esteem, self worth to millions of unsuspecting altruists.
To me it is clear that the science is not settled. This is a scam, a deception and/or a manipulation, not a moral issue. The global warming myth is being perpetuated like a well run publicity campaign, based on emotion rather than reason. I am constantly seeing images of drowning polar bears on melting arctic ice. The truth is that out of the dozen populations of polar bears worldwide, only two populations are declining in number. The rest are either stable or increasing in size. The worldwide polar bear population stands at 25,000 which is up from a meager population of 5,000 in the early 1970's. The media is also showing images of melting ice in the arctic. What they are failing to mention is that the icepack in the antarctic is at record high levels. The truth is that our climate is a dynamic system that is constantly changing.
Few people remember the "great American dust-bowl" of the 1930s. The highest temperatures on record occurred during the 30s. The massive heatwave and drought lasted a decade and rendered most of the farmland in 5 mid-west states unusable. There were storms of huge black dust clouds, made up of dried up soil, that blew hundreds of miles and turned the sky black in the heat of a cloudless day. This ten year heatwave and drought caused over a million people to migrate to other parts of the country in order to survive and find work. All of this was on the heals of the great depression. This climate disaster exacerbated the economic slowdown as food prices skyrocketed. This all happened during the 1930's, before the bulk of so-called greenhouse gasses entered our atmosphere. This climate catastrophe of the 30's was never attributed to man-made global warming, however, in today's political climate, each and every weather anomaly is blamed on man-made global warming.
I've read dozens of articles on both sides of the global warming debate (a debate that doesn't exist according to Al Gore). Click here to link to a page that directs you to dozens of scientific articles that question the status quo of global warming.
I will now relate a few of my own common sense observations which are irrefutable in my opinion. I may be wrong, but it is certainly worth discussion and study. To say the science is settled is an outright lie. The arguments that I make are mostly based on reason, experience and common sense. For example, plants need co2 in order to survive and produce oxygen and food. Higher co2 levels and higher temperatures would result in more plants and more food and more oxygen. Thus co2 is good for humanity, it is not a pollutant. Another point I make is that the global climate has always been in flux, it has always been changing, long before man inhabited this planet. Ice ages and warm periods have always come and gone throughout geological history. The Earth's climate has never been fixed. Another point that I make is that co2 is merely a trace gas at 380 PPM in the atmosphere. Water vapor is much more abundant in the atmosphere and has a much larger effect as a greenhouse gas. Water vapor also "self regulates" the earths temperature because when the temperature gets hotter, more water evaporates, and this produces more clouds which reflects the sun and cools the Earth. So in effect water vapor is a greenhouse gas unless it is in the form of clouds, then it reflects the sun and has a cooling effect. Another thing that I discovered is that co2 is also dissolved in the oceans just like in soda pop. When the ocean temperature rises, co2 is released from the ocean into the atmosphere. This may explain why the records show that global temperature rise, always precedes the increase in co2 in the atmosphere. Articles that I have recently read reiterate these conclusions that I have come to on my own using reason, logic and common sense. Not to mention the fact that Al Gore keeps insisting that the science is proved and the debate is over and that this is the number one moral issue of our time.
If global warming is such a serious threat that everyone knows is true, why do many Hollywood celebrities and wealthy people live on oceanfront property or near the ocean. According to Al Gore's documentary, sea levels are expected to rise and coastal flooding is imminent. In a time of falling real estate prices nationwide, why is expensive oceanfront property increasing in value?
All I am trying to say in this modest article is that the debate is not over, but it is being suppressed. What if Gore is wrong and we are actually entering a period of global cooling. Man's intervention, in an attempt to stave off global warming, could exacerbate the problem if global cooling was happening. During the 1970's a consensus of scientists published articles that stated global cooling was happening, and we were on the verge of the next ice-age. Global cooling would be much more harmful to life than global warming. Global cooling would reduce plant life which would lead to famines worldwide, not to mention decreased livable land mass.
Environmentalists give us meager humans too much credit. Human activity is insignificant when compared with the awesome powers of mother nature. The Earth's climate changes in natural cycles due to solar activity, magnetic fields, changing planetary orbits, volcanic activity, collisions with objects from space and other causes beyond human control and understanding. The Earth's climate has been in a constant state of flux for billions of years and there is little to indicate that these cycles are influenced by human activity. Scientists have also determined that global warming is currently also occurring on Mars, the moons of Jupiter and Pluto. Surely humans have no influence in these remote places.
All I am asking is: Why are school children and university students being taught that man-made global warming is a fact when this is just a theory? This is only one of the many areas where today's youth are being deceived and manipulated into believing things that are politically correct, but have not been proven to be true.
On a lighter note, click on the video below to hear a parity of John Lennon's song "Imagine(there's no global warming)".

The Problem with America & Questionnaire
The problem with America is not an economic one, it is a spiritual one. Popular culture celebrates things that are bad, wrong evil and abnormal. They sport satanic symbols, they dress like gangsters and prostitutes, they have disdain for police and military and rich(successful) people and corporations. They mock Christianity and God. They embrace homosexuality, blended families and single moms. They make excuses justifying felons, drug addicts, and homeless bums, illegal aliens and terrorists. The foul language and foul music that is popular among today's youth illustrates their inner attitudes.
Our nation was built on family values and spiritual principles, that are being removed from today's culture in wholesale fashion. Our nation is becoming a house of cards without a foundation. Our economy is propped up by debts that we can-not repay. Hard work, saving and sacrifice, selflessness and humility are not valued by to days popular culture. Instead, popularity, showing off, instant gratification, thrill seeking, and sexuality and happiness have become our new values. I see no way that this next generation can find the courage, strength, selflessness and righteousness to sustain the American way of life and the wealth and liberties we have become accustomed to. Freedom requires restraint. Today, most restraints are considered intolerant, racist, homophobic, sexist, xenophobic or just plain mean.
The following ideas are being made popular in today's public schools, universities, media, and the arts (music, films, TV, etc).
Which of the following statements do you agree with?
1) Man-made global warming due to CO2 emissions is a proven fact.
2) All war is wrong.
3) The U.S. is an imperialist nation.
4) All foreigners should be allowed to immigrate to the US and become citizens.
5) Racism is a big problem in the U.S.
6) Brutality and racism is a big problem in US police, court and prison systems.
7) Believing in religion is an unreasonable belief.
8) Darwin's theory is more reasonable than creation.
9) The US military is often charged with murderous cruel and evil missions.
10) Homosexuality is normal and healthy.
11) Sex outside of marriage is normal and healthy.
12) All types of families are equal(single moms, homosexual, blended families, etc.) in that they all lead to equally healthy development, education and success of children coming from these families equally. Thus equally leading to a better future for America.

New Deal or Bad deal?
I would like to discuss why social programs are not the answer to poverty. They are rarely successful in improving poverty, but good liberals continue to support these failing programs. Whether or not they work is secondary to liberals, the main thing is it makes them feel good by giving to the poor. While alleviating their own guilt, they are actually removing the motivation to succeed from the very people that they are trying to help. Programs offered by liberals are not based on spiritual principles and the hard truths of life. Poverty in America is caused by spiritual poverty. There is opportunity in America for those who are sufficiently motivated to work hard for it.
The crux of the problem is the broken family. Today's popular culture does everything that it can to encourage children not being brought up by their mother and father. An average of 25 percent of children today are born out of wedlock, 70 percent in the black community. Encouraging marriage, and stigmatizing single parents or blended families, will do more for reducing poverty and crime than any social program can. But altruists would consider that mean and judgmental. For them it is out of the question, even though there is a direct relationship between poverty, crime, drug abuse and non-intact families. Unfortunately popular culture celebrates and embraces the single mom, divorce, the blended family and homosexual marriage and casual sex. In an effort to raise the self esteem of children growing up in broken homes, we are encouraging more broken homes by removing the stigma. In this case, by not being judgmental, we feel good about ourselves, while we are encouraging behavior that exacerbates the problem.
It's a lot easier, and it feels a lot better, to give money to the poor and offer heart felt sympathy, rather than to tell them the hard truth and show tough love. The truth is, that money is not the answer and hand outs will only exacerbate the problem. The message should be don't to get pregnant until you're married and can support a family. If you get pregnant before they are married, now is the time to get married, stay married and take responsibility. Families must do whatever it takes to stick it out in the marriage and raise their children together honorably and don't look for handouts. Pull yourself up by your own bootstraps and take responsibility. The only one who I know that tours the country, going to poor neighborhoods to spread this message, is the black comedian and actor Bill Cosby. Cosby has written a book and makes many speeches in poor black neighborhoods preaching personal responsibility. Click here for one of Bill Cosby's inspiring speeches. He is often criticized by the civil rights activists, and black leaders, and many liberals for being mean, uncaring and unsympathetic. Yet Cosby's principles are undeniably successful when applied.
Civil rights activists are always lobbying for more government money, but the ugly truth is that just perpetuates the problem. By removing the economic dependence that the mother and father share with each other, we are increasing the chances of the family splitting up and leaving the children without a father in their home.. Throwing money at the problem of poverty in America just diminishes the ambition of people to reach down into their souls and rise to the challenge, by pulling themselves up.
Of course it wouldn't make a person with an altruistic philosophy feel very good by lecturing poor children on the virtues of work, responsibility, and family. They don't want to here it, they just to give some money and heart felt sympathy. It is human nature to take the easy way out. But the easy way, is not always the best way. Talk of white racism is also bound to get applause, by giving them a scapegoat for the mess that they find themselves in. But anger only distracts them from the solution of hard work, discipline and personal responsibility. But, by giving them handouts to live on, they are deprived of the motivation of doing what it takes to provide for themselves and their families. Worse than that, they lose their honor. Honor can't be bought or sold, it must be earned.
Tough love and altruism are two philosophies that don't work well together. Honor and nobility trumps self esteem every time. There is no honor in doing what you think is right just to feel good, so you can say, "at least I did something". True happiness and honor comes from living right, and making the tough decisions. Often liberals are misled, manipulated and deceived in their search for sense of value, self worth self esteem, popularity, acceptance and happiness. If you remain true to unwavering spiritual principles, it's harder to be fooled, but it is also harder row to hoe. Spiritual progress is usually found in that harder row, in this man's humble opinion.

More on the Global Warming Deception
I can simply prove my point by using Al Gore's words. On the subject of man made global warming Al Gore said: "the science is settled, the debate is over." He also said "global warming is the number one moral issue of our time." The debate is over as far as Al Gore is concerned because he does not wish to participate in debate. When he is asked about specific opposing studies, he attacks the character of the group making the studies and calls the source of their funding into question. Recently Al Gore said people who do not believe that global warming is real and caused by Co2 emissions, are a tiny minority, and can be compared with those who still think the earth is flat or that the moon landing was staged. In effect he stifles all opposing views.
This whole man made global warming myth is the perfect ruse for altruists. What better moral cause that saving the planet with all it's inhabitants. This ruse is sure to bring much sense of value, self worth and and adoration to millions of unsuspecting altruists.
To me it is clear that the science is not settled. This is a scam and not a moral issue. I've read dozens of articles on both sides of this debate (a debate that doesn't exist according to Al Gore). For example, plants need co2 in order to survive and produce oxygen and food.Higher co2 levels and higher temperatures would result in more plants and more food and more oxygen. This explains why the records show that global temperature rise always precedes the increase in co2 in the atmosphere.Articles that I have recently read reiterate these conclusions that I have come to on my own using reason, logic and common sense.
All I am asking is why are school children and university students being taught that man-made global warming is a fact when this is just a theory? This is only one of the many areas where today's youth are being deceived and manipulated.

Obama, the First black President?
I think that race has helped Obama more than hurt him. Many white folks are voting for Obama out of a sense of white guilt or to show everyone how open-minded and progressive that they are. They think that by voting for the first black president that they are proving that they are a good person. Most Obama supporters can not even tell you what his policies are or what his record has been. All they know is that if elected, he will be the first black president.
Obama is a socialist. He wants to tax the wealthy and give to the poor. Just like Karl Marx said ,"from each according to his ability, to each according to his need." This sounds good but it doesn't work because people lose motivation and ambition. Eventually, the class that produces goods and services shrinks, so there is less wealth to go around. As a result, most people become poor and dependent on the Government. Please don't fall for it.

The Most Terrifying Global Warming Video That You Will Ever See
Click on the embedded video or link below for an example of how the public is being frightened into buying the global warming hoax.
It's called "The Most Terrifying Video You'll ever See".
This is an example of how teachers and professors are using emotion, rather than reason, to get people to believe in political, economic and social change, due to global warming. This professor makes the case that the "facts" don't matter. He says that because the consequences would be so severe if global warming were true, that we must act now even if global warming turns out to be untrue.
1) It is so easy to rebuke this teacher's theory. First of, if we act now, there will be other costs besides the economic costs that, the teacher claims to be the only cost of acting. It is already happening. Because we are diverting much of our corn crops to be used in ethanol production, the price of food has gone up substantially, and famines are already happening in parts of the world because of it. For the first time ever, the US is importing wheat because much land that was used to grow wheat, is now being used for corn crops.
2) The main reason why the planet can support more people than it ever has before is because of the machinery that the industrial revolution has brought us. These machines include farm equipment and transportation equipment and refrigeration equipment and water supplies and plumbing and medical equipment and construction equipment that build the safest, most "weatherproof" homes that the world has ever seen. All of this runs on fossil fuel. By substantially reducing the use of fossil fuel, it is inevitable that millions would die around the world.
3) Do we know what the solution is? If we can't be sure that the problem of global warming exists; How can we be so sure that an extremely costly solution would be effective? Perhaps the solution would be completely ineffective, or even worse; what if our "solution" inadvertently throws the planet's climate into a devastating "Ice Age"? It would be much harder for us to adapt to global cooling than global warming. Much more plants and animals would surely die as a result of global cooling. A warmer climate and more CO2 in the atmosphere, promotes more plant life, which means more food will be available on the planet. The planets climate has always been in flux since the formation of the earth. Life has always adapted to that change.
4) Even if we could be sure of an effective solution; Is the government capable of implementing it? We are constantly hearing politicians, on both sides of the isle saying that "government is broken". They say this in regard to our ineffectual border security, the downturn in the economy, the social security and medicare system that is going bankrupt, the national debt that is spiraling out of control, crime, corruption, poverty, education, etc. If government can not solve these concrete problems, that have clear and practical solutions, why do people think that we can solve a vague and undefined problem like global warming?
5) The most powerful answer to that video is the spiritual one. The teacher says that the threat is so great that we must address it weather it is real or not. I would like to ask this teacher if he believes in God an the eternal soul? If he answers no, I would like to know why not, after all, the possibility of spending the rest of eternity suffering in hell, sure out-ways the cost of not preparing ourselves for the afterlife. According to his beliefs, he should be instructing his students to repent, to ask God for forgiveness and try to live a righteous and spiritually correct life. After all, the consequences of going to hell are so great, that even if we don't believe in hell, it would be prudent to do all that we can to avoid that possibility, because the consequences would be so devastating. The consequences would be far worse than global warming. So, if this teacher truly believes his theory, he should immediately spend all of his time preaching, rather than teaching. He should be in favor of school prayer and school bible study, just in-case. After all, we only spend less than a hundred years on earth and the rest of eternity many depend on our actions here.

A Debate
In my experience, true political discourse, between two private citizens, one being liberal and one being conservative, is a very rare thing, if it exists at all in today's America. However, if such a discourse should take place, it would go something like this:
“Hi Connie it's me Libby; How are you today?”
“OK I guess. I'm just getting tired of these presidential primaries going on for so long. They have been campaigning for over a year, and there is no end in sight. The news programs don't cover anything else besides the campaign. I don't know what is happening in Congress, the world, our country, or our city because all they are covering on the news programs, is Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Clinton and Obama have faced off in eighteen debates so far. I wish the news coverage wouldn't obsess so much on this election and just go back to doing their job of covering “all” of the news.”
Libby responds: “Well, I guess that is true, but you can't blame them, this may very well be the most important, groundbreaking, historical, election of all time.”
“Why is this election so important?” asks Connie, “There are so many serious issues facing our nation today. Is it because of the “war on terror” or the threat from China or because of the high price of oil and our failing economy or because of illegal immigration or because of the “culture war? We are living in very dangerous and unstable times”.
“No stupid, it's so obvious, are you blind?” Asked Libby, “Barrack Obama is an African American and Hillary Clinton is a woman. It is likely that for the first time in our nations history, we will elect a black man or a woman, as president of the United States. Wouldn't that be wonderful? It would show how much progress women and minorities are making and what a truly diverse nation we have become. That would make me proud, for the first time in my life, to be an American.”
“Libby, we live in dangerous times, I think that we must be careful to choose the best person for the job” said Connie.”
“That's exactly what I'm saying,” said Libby, “look where our country is today because we always had old white men running things. I for one, say it's time for a change.”
“I'm ready for a change also, I think that we should enforce our immigration laws, I think that we should fight the war on terror with vigor, I think that the US should become independent from foreign oil by drilling in ANWR and off of Florida's coast and by building nuclear power plants. I think that we should stop enriching our enemies and dismantling our factories because of unfair trade practices with countries like China. I think that we should lower taxes on individuals and businesses in order to encourage economic growth and reduce the size and scope of government. I think that we should cut down on government spending instead of increasing it with programs like universal health care, which we can't afford and government is unable to manage. I think that we need to make drastic changes in social security and Medicare programs, in order to relieve future generations of this huge burden that they will inherit,” said Connie.
“Jesus, you're a real jack-ass Connie” said Libby, “ are all you conservatives such mean spirited, bigoted, uncaring, hate mongers? I can't believe that you actually admit that you are in favor of war. Who in their right mind wants to kill innocent people besides hypocrites like you. I am for children, but I'm not in favor of killing them, whether they are American soldiers or Iraqi children, they are still human beings. Next, haven't you ever heard of global warming? Do you also hate the Earth? Drilling for oil in ANWR and the off shores of Florida is bad for the environment, we need to find “green” sources of energy. Besides, another Alaskan pipeline will kill the caribou and disturb the environment, in our most pristine wildlife refuge. Drilling offshore will cause oil spills, off the coast of Florida, that will kill birds fish and foul Florida's coasts. Why do you want tax cuts for the rich while poor people are starving and can't afford medical care? What makes America so special, we should trade with China because their people are so poor, they need jobs too, and it also helps our economy by providing cheaper goods for poor people in the US. I can't believe that you are such a xenophobe that you actually want to punish poor Mexican Americans that only want a better way of life for their families. How can you possibly be against health care for poor people? Do you want to see them all get sick and die? Is that your way of eliminating poverty? It's jackasses like you that hate children, animals, the Earth itself, poor people and people of different races, that just makes me furious. Why do you hate so much? Is it because you are a loser with no life? Why you are so resentful of anyone who cares about people, like I do. You are also a bigot for hating Mexicans and the Chinese people who only want a better way of life. And what do have against poor people? We need more taxes on bigots like you, to help them out. Why don't you want to be a good person and help people? Why don't you care about people, animals or the planet? I don't understand how people like you can be so mean.”
“Libby, can you please stick to the facts and leave your hateful emotions out of this discussion?” Asked Connie.
“OK, but it is a fact that you are a hateful bigot who who also hates the earth and people who are nice”, quipped Libby. “It's useless to talk to racists like you. No wonder you are against a black man or a woman for president. By voting for a black man or a woman, I am showing the world how progressive and open minded I am. I'm just not sure which one I will be voting for, but I definitely won't be voting for an that old white man.”
So it is true that you are basing your vote on race and sex,” said Connie. “So how can you call me a racist or sexist? Aren't you being a hypocrite?”
“God, you are so stupid, you can't see the forest though the trees. Can't you see that I am proving that I am not a racist or sexist precisely because I am voting for a black or a woman. White men have been in charge from the start, and look at the shape we are in now. The police are beating and locking up minorities, just look at the Rodney King beating or the prison statistics. Blacks are incarcerated at a rate of six-to-one, compared with whites. More minorities are dropping out of high school and not being admitted to colleges than whites are. Most of the nations poor are minorities. So what am I supposed to think in a country where there are more blacks in prison than there are in universities. Of course this is a racist country, open your eyes. And as for women, there is a glass ceiling. Women earn less money than men that are doing the same job, and men are in the majority of CEO positions in all our major corporations and there has never been a woman or black president before. I can't wait to see that change,” said Libby.
“Boy Libby, you have touched on so many topics, I would love to address each and every one if you would give me a chance. Fist let me start off by saying that the very definition of being a racist or sexist is a person that judges people based solely on their race or sex. By definition, that would make you a racist and sexist, not me.”
Libby interrupted, “What nerve you have, you are the racist. You already said that you don't want Mexicans and Chinese to have good jobs, you probably hate blacks too. I can't be a racist or sexist because I only want to do good things for women and minorities. I want to give them a hand up, not a hand out. I'm just trying to be a good person and you call me a racist, you're not only pathetic, you are not living in reality, you jerk.”
“But by giving blacks and women preferential treatment, aren't you discriminating against white men?
Libby answered angrily, “you really are stupid. White men don't need preferential treatment, they are already getting it, they run America, it's time for a change.”
Connie answers, “All I am saying is that we should judge people by their character and abilities, not by their sex or their race. Martin Luther King said “ Judge not by the color of one's skin but by the content of one's character.” Do you think Martian Luther King was also being a racist?
“Now you are getting downright insulting, by calling Martian Luther King a racist,” said Libby. “You are the racist. King was talking about blacks, you moron”.
“No”, said Connie, “King was talking about all people, the human race. I believe that there are more minorities in jail because it just so happens that they committed more crimes”.
“Well you would commit crimes too if you were poor and had no chance of getting a good job and couldn't afford college” said Libby.
“Libby, there is plenty of opportunity in the US for everyone, if they have the ambition, patience and self discipline to go after it. There are many first generation Chinese and Indian immigrants who have become successful in business and they send their children to college” said Connie. “ I believe that the reason why many blacks remain poor, and get in trouble with the law, is not because of their race, but because of a moral bankruptcy that comes from being brought up without their father in their home. Many Backs in the US have no family values because they are brought up by single moms, and it becomes a vicious cycle.” said Connie.
“Now you are against single moms too, you're not only a racist but you are a sexist too, no wonder you hate Hillary and Obama” interrupted Libby.
Connie answers, “Currently 70% of blacks are being born out of wedlock, 35% of Hispanics are born out of wedlock and about 20% of whites are born out of wedlock. Statistics for crime, high school drop-out rate and poverty are surprisingly reflective of these statistics. Many children these days, especially those born to single moms, do not receive any form of spiritual, moral or religious training in churches, at home and certainly not in school. These youngsters are often unsupervised and allowed to “run wild” in the streets, and they have no moral or spiritual guidance. They feel lonely and unloved and angry about their predicament. Often they put the blame on those who try to “reel-them-in”, such as teachers, police, and the “good” people of the community. In many cases, their anger turns into hostility and rage and they do bad things and get in trouble with the law.”
I was wondering how long it would be before you tried to force “your morality” on me. You conservative hypocrites are all the same,” said Libby. “Most of you are cheating on your wives or cheating your taxes, and most catholic priests are child molesters, and you are the first ones to preach about morality. Well let me tell you and your phony God this; The most moral thing we can all do is to help the poor and underprivileged and the sick, and also save the planet by ending global warming. We can also not be so judgmental of poor people and people of color and especially of struggling single moms. Also I would like to tell you, Mr. Hypocrite, that single moms are the hardest working, most unappreciated people on Earth and you should give them credit instead of blaming crime and poverty on them. You are such a sexist, I can't believe it. Did you ever hear about the separation between church and state? Keep your so-called morals to yourself. Most wars were fought in the name of religion, and war is bad. The world would be better of without people like you who preach religion and God. Judgmental people like you are the real problem.”
“Well Libby, I was afraid that you wouldn't be able to contain your vitriol. I was hoping to have a civil discussion with you, but I have never succeeded in that when debating with a liberal”.
“That's because you are such a mean hateful person” quipped Libby. “I just want to help people, because it makes me feel good to be a nice person, but all you want to do is to put people down, especially people who are different than you. You are a monster.”
“Libby, I'm afraid that you are misunderstanding me,” said Connie. “I too want the best for everybody.”
“You sure don't act like it” interrupted Libby. “Why are you so mean and judgmental?”
Let me finish” answered Connie. “I think that it is best for the individual as well as society if we all aspire to live up to universal spiritual principles. These principles include the inalienable rights that our forefathers wrote about in our declaration of independence. However, freedom needs to be balanced with restraints. Just like in physics, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This is also a spiritual universal law that, try as you like, it can not be broken. If we do not restrain our own freedoms with the restraint found in spiritual principles, and morality we will, in the end, be restrained by our family, by our community, by economics, by the law, or by God. By following spiritual principles, we will be in harmony with “the natural order” and we will prosper and find peace within ourselves and with our neighbors. We won't be needy or angry. We will be content and an asset to our families and to the greater society around us. No government program can provide the restraint and freedom that we will find by following Gods laws. However, if we are unable to balance our freedoms with Gods laws, mans laws will be there to take up the slack, and we will find ourselves in a struggle to prosper, to find contentment and to stay out of jail.”
“Are you saying that you are perfect or something,” asked Libby. “I don't believe that you never lied, cheated or stole something. That's why your a hypocrite. You go around telling everyone else how to live but you feel that it is OK for you to break your own rules because you think that you are superior. You holy rollers are all alike, a bunch of phony do gooders. I know the difference between right and wrong, I don't need some God to tell me how to live. Doing good things makes me feel good, so I do as much good as possible. Your spiritual principles don't tell you to recycle or to go to benefit concerts or to live green, or to give money to homeless people, or to do volunteer work; Do they? Those things make me feel good, so I know I am doing the right thing. I always compliment people instead of judging them because I know that it makes them feel good and that makes me feel good. Isn't making each other feel good what it's all about? Or are you against happiness too?”
“Libby, of course I'm not against happiness. What I am saying is that true happiness can not be achieved by chasing after pleasure, it is a by-product of living right. Besides, I feel that there are more important things than happiness.”
“What could possibly be more important than happiness? If everyone were happy, it would be a perfect world,” interrupted Libby.
“Here is where we disagree,” said Connie. “I do not believe there ever has been, or will ever be, universal peace on earth and happiness for all. Now, that is no reason for being depressed and not doing good things. Quite the opposite, the fact that evil exists, and always has existed, gives us all the opportunity to do good things and to strive to conquer evil. Giving in to evil or accepting or trying to “get along” with evil, does not work. Evil, by it's very nature, will deceive us, and manipulate us, tempt us, and use us for it's own purpose. No, we cannot form an alliance with evil, when confronted, evil must be restrained. This is how we grow spiritually and improve our souls in preparation for the after-life. You see, there is no such thing as perfection in this world, and yes I have lied cheated and stolen. If I hadn't had those temptations, I would not be human. But at the same time my shortcomings, if I can identify and recognize them as such, give me the opportunity to improve myself and practice spiritual principles. These principles include: Patience, Humility, Integrity, Honesty, Selflessness, Self-sacrifice, Acceptance, Courage, Responsibility, Self-Discipline, Love, Forgiveness, and Faith. That is the whole point of religion, to help us distinguish between the good and evil within ourselves, and to strengthen the good that exists within all of us and restrain the evil inclinations that we all have. I believe that these spiritual principles are universal truths that never change. The more in-line with Gods law we are, the more peace and happiness we will find on earth. Anger, resentment, selfishness, hate, impatience, irresponsibility, pride, pleasure seeking, deception, gluttony and cowardliness are all weaknesses that will lead us away from true fulfillment found only by bringing ourselves in line with God's laws. It is not up to us to pick and choose which principle to practice and when. These principles are universal and grounded in bedrock. Justifications can always be made for doing the wrong thing but it is impossible to get away with it, because God knows everything that we are doing. There is no fooling God.”
“Well”, said Libby, “thats all well and good for you with all of your evil inclinations that you are struggling with, but I don't have those evil inclinations like you. All I want is peace, love and happiness for myself and for everyone else. I don't see any harm in that. You must be the evil one, you said it yourself that you have evil inclinations. You are the one trying to deceive me by telling me that pleasure seeking is wrong. You're just jealous and hard hearted because you are miserable.”
Libby, you are calling me jealous and hard-hearted, you also called me stupid, hateful, mean spirited, racist, sexist, moronic, and other insults. That is just plain wrong in a discussion with a colleague with whom you just happen to disagree,” said Connie. “You liberals are all alike, when someone disagrees with your way of thinking, you take it as a personal attack. You are the one being very defensive here and you are the one who is being close-minded and unwilling to take an honest look at what I am saying. Instead you hurl insults and tell me that I am a bad person for not falling in line and seeing things your way.”
“Are you nuts?” shouted Libby. “You are the one telling me what to think and how to live my life. You are the one putting on an aire of superiority. You are the one telling me that I will burn in hell if I don't fall in line and do exactly what you say is right, according to your morals. I don't have to take this from you just because you are jealous that I am happy and you are sexually frustrated.”
“Libby, come back to Earth, think about our conversation. I was only telling you my views, I wasn't telling you what to do. Why does it anger you so to hear my beliefs? I said nothing hateful or out of anger. You are the one calling me names in anger. Can't you see that?” begged Connie.
“All I know is that you are an intolerant religious zealot and being around you is a bummer,” said Libby. “You are very judgmental and say things just to make people feel bad. You want everyone to be exactly like you and if they're not, then your mean to them. You should be more like me and build up peoples self-esteem instead of tearing them down and making them feel awful.”
Libby turned and walked away quickly, trying to remove herself from a painful situation as quickly as possible. As she left Connie cried out, “Libby, can't you see that you are the one that is intolerant, angry and resentful because I don't think and behave like you, not the other way around?”
Libby increased her pace, put her hands over her ears and shouted, “shut up, you are the mean one, anyone with half a brain could see that, leave me alone you fascist pig”. Libby turned around just long enough to flip Connie the bird(show the middle finger) and then walked away.
This little fictional conversation is typical of many true life conversations that I have had with liberals. Pick the topic, religion just happened to be used in this fictional conversation, but it could have just as well been about gay marriage, global warming, homeschooling, the Iraq war, health care, welfare, the economy, illegal immigration, tax cuts, abortion, etc. Liberals themselves tend to be very intolerant of any views that put any restraint on any type of behavior. Anything that is not sympathetic to their viewpoint and doesn't make them “feel good”is taken as a personal insult and is dealt with by hurling insults and character assassinations back. Pretty soon they become so emotional that they are no-longer able to hold a conversation at all and just walk away claiming that you are impossible to deal with for a variety of non-existent reasons. I challenge any liberal to a civilized debate, I'd love to have one, it's never happened yet.
